Giada should have been paired with Mario since they really push Italian cuisine in their shows.
Giada is hot!
Now if only Sandra Lee vs. Paula Deen….

I think both are great cooks!
i love rachael. how she still injected humor amidst pressure! and clearly, she cooked better tasting dish that giada. i was not able to taste it, but come one, if u love food, you’ll know that her dishes here are to die for! rachael’s shrimp dish and the drunken pasta, against giada’s feeble raviolli and doughnuts? there’s not even a competition! rachael’s the best!
I think the JP version wastes way too much time. They need to show more cooking. They also seem far less concerned with how things will taste.

I can’t help but feel a little bit like Giada got gyped here. I like both Giada and Rachael, but it seemed like Mario really carried his whole side of it while Rachael just stirred for him. I was bummed when Giada lost because it seemed like she knew she wasn’t going to win against the Food Network darling Rachael Ray no matter what they cooked. Just my personal opinion.
