On second thought, you’re an idiot.

I don’t think Susan was beat on Rachel and Valerie; it was in the context of how they approached weight loss that irked Susan. I saw a bit of this show, it was giggles, hugs, and “gurrrl, you look good” tee hee. IMO, Susan felt this discussion should have been more honest, more educational, and less high school.

umm… so… what… mcdonald’s crap is somehow okay for skinny people? it’s okay for you?

But anyway, I would love to see you back on t.v. showing people the correct way to better health and fitness, but not in an infomercial kind of way this time. Think about it. Just leave the angry anti-men Lesborant at the studio door.

But if you don’t like how they are presenting weight loss issues, why don’t you do it? I mean, you could be the gay Martha Stewart of the Healthful Living show and do it with tastefulness. Just be mindful that sometimes you come off sounding like the angry ex-wife-turned-neuvau Lesbian. I certainly hope that was not the reason you came out because a man hurt your feelings.

Funny thing is, I always thought you were one of US. My question is, why are you so beat on Rachel Ray and Valerie Bertinelli? Weight loss is a major concern in this country; God knows I need to lose this 40 lbs I’ve gained, and I’ve always been into physical fitness and body sculpting. Menopause kicked in and everything went south.

Hey Susan, glad to see you back. I had been wondering where you went off to. But I have to admit, I gagged when I heard that you were suddenly out of the closet.

Nice to hear you speak again about the differences in Mainstream Media, Susan
Many of us are thinking the same way-we get it and struggle to live it. Worcester MA welcomes you back.

Women are important! Big Media needs to place this truth first. Many women are tuning out to confusion others are waking up. You are so right we need a body/mind/spirit approach to wholeness on TV and we need it now.

“…see YOUR BODY, not somebody else’s, as LEAN and as STRONG as YOU want it!” “If you eat high volume, HIGH QUALITY, low fat food and if you move not just for the sake of moving, but for the way you move today, there is NO WAY you will not reach your fitness goal.” ~ Susan Powter, Moving
Truer words have NEVER been spoken.

Oh yes, yes, you are right on! I was in Weight Watchers once and was disgusted - the talk was always about “getting into the new outfit” or “looking good on the cruise”. FLUFF! Shape your destinies, women!

    THANKS for your activism.

There’s been a huge retrogression to the standards of the 80’s in many facets of media, pop-culture, fashion, and even the way people think. To me, that decade was about exhibitionism, egotism and materialism prized above all else.

I had hoped we were through with all that. Sadly no. Human society works in cycles.

As far as losing weight as an ephemeral emotional experience vs. a life changing experience- I think I see your point. TV turns life into a 2-dimensional caricature of reality.

Good video. I liked your point. They try to make people feel crazy, in order to sell them stuff– when just wise eating, more exercise and some elementary things will help them a lot. I’ve been cutting fat content and exercising every day. I feel much better.

I hear ya. I’m with ya. Although I am big on the emotional aspects of overcoming overeating and all that, I AGREE that quality eating and quality movement will change EVERYTHING for a person. That’s why I’m putting this on my blog today Susie Su!!! xoxoxoxoxo

Hey Susan! I’m lookin forward to your training! Will you post it on utube for us to go along? I am dancing tribal at the moment but I feel it’s not enough. I lost 66 pounds in a few years, but gained 9 due to stress in the last months. I checked my eating habits again and lost 3 till now but I want to move!
I like your approach to weightloss. It IS emotional, but it’s most certainly one of the biggest life-changing things you can do to yourself.
